Finally a win after 6 games and we moved on towards a new era of Goat football! Previous season have shown that we have always been the strongest side come end of the season by gathering unbeaten streak. But it still remains a question to me if we will be able to do that this season as we are facing tougher opposition here in Divsion 2. Nevertheless i feel that the future is bright! =)
Today we carried on with our new style of play and it was greatly helped by the return of several key players to the team. One-twos were all around the field and football is actually great to watch. I'm happy to say that we are enjoying our football now!
And the game kicked off!
For the first 5mins, both teams are testing each other out. Spreading balls from left to right and right to left. And during than, i was really impressed by Real's 2 main strikers as they have very good touches on the ball and their flick-ons show great team-work. They know where each other are. Something we can learn from.
Soon, came the 1st goal for us when JinChuen slot in a free-kick with a low hard drive. Real's than have a few chances but i was able to pull off some saves to keep the scoreline in our favour. But unfortunately, they soon found a goal just before half time when a corner was not cleared to safety and found its way into the net. First half ended 1-1
Second half was a bright affair for both team as we know what each other is strong at and we push each other. They carry on with their tenacious game while we carry on playing a game of speed. Soon it paid off when boonwee headed in a goal out of nowhere. Great goal as he shows strikers instinct and determination to get on to the ball before his opponent.
Than an individual brilliance from their Andy Johnson look-alike striker who twist and turn our defence before slotting home a goal towards the bottom corner which left me stranded. Than it came into a stalemate when both teams trying their best to break the deadlock.
And it did come the last 10min when yongjie made a lung bursting run from right back after winning the ball. Dribbling his way through 3 players he fired a cross into the box while tumbling to the ground. The ball swerved in the air while beating the goalkeeper and into a net. Lucky? Well we are 2 time lucky if you ask our Captain Jackson!
Another goal came soon when Yiwen overlap Yongjie to swing in a beauty which found JinChuen who was left empty to slot home the goal that give us a 2 goal cushion!
Thanks to everyone who came down as we once again played with 12men! Thanks to Yongjie who cancelled his meeting to fulfil his promise, thanks to Kiong for coming down despite having a Pro match! Thanks to renjie even though injured but came down to support the team. For those who said yes and did not come, i just hope that u will be a better person in the future. =) As i always want to do my best to be a better organiser.

2 games 4 goals! JinChuen is loving his moment on the pitch as game carries on. Hope his goals will carry on during the season. He is also influential to us yesterday when he showed his skills not only in scoring but also defending when he cameo in the left back position for a number of times.
Also special mention to Tin, YongJie and Yiwen for a good game!
