1 wrong decision cost the game!

Team Goat 2 SengKang Rangers 2

 (Benny, Yangshan)

Before the game, committee members of the team gathered during midweek to discuss on the possibility of changing the team play and to improve the team. Decision was made to,

1. Have  a core group of players
2. to improve the team passing capability 
3. to have players running in and out to provide support!

With all these as the agenda for our game, we were set up and ready to play. From the start we move together as a team and make space for each other. The passing games started to flow and we were dominating the game. Soon chances started to fall for us but we were unable to capitalise on it. But come 30 minutes we broke the deadlock with yongjie's cross finding Benny at the far post to slot in the goal.

2nd goal came when YongJie free-kicks from our own half found Yangshan who is running into the box. 1 on 1, yangshan is able to find the net to have the score at 2-0.

2nd half was more of a 50-50 game when both team have possession of the ball. Sengkang is pushing hard for a goal while we are sitting deep and waiting to counter. 

A dumb decision by me with minutes to go changed the whole game by taking our form players, thaddeus and yongjie out of the game. It upset the rhythm and soon they were able to equalise. (i'm really sorry and i learn my lesson)

But hey, we are still improving and we can look at the positives. We are passing more and moving around more. We started to go back to our old selves at 2nd half but it is only natural as we get tired. I'm optimistic of the future and so should you guys! I would also hope that we make full use of our chance. We could easily score 3-4 more goals as we missed all the one on one chance! Hehe

Motm - YongJie

With 2 assist and countless runs up and down the field. YongJie is influential in our team play today. Definitely will be looking up to him for more of the upcoming games! =)
