Match Report: Ugly pitch with beautiful play

Defence the key today!

Team Goat 2 Dynamites FC 0
(Kiong, YongJie)

Well well.. Aren't I smiling to myself now. Finally a clean sheet in like how many matches.. :) And players that I had mentioned in the previous definitely rose up to the occasion and showed the team what they had been missing in the past - Committed man marking and excellent positioning at the back!
Well, upon receiving the news that we're going to play at MacPherson sec, I became totally un-motivated from head to toe. Seriously, talking about lousy pitches, one should play there at least once. Totally once in a lifetime experience. To be honest, I wasn't really expecting any neat plays and passes and all..
However, little did I know that I'm in for a shock.. Totally shocked that the gates wasn't open till 3 -_- Guess the field warden was expecting us to abandon the field and look for a new one.

START!

With little warm up, the match was started abruptly.
We started off brightly by winning almost all of the challenges in the central part, credits to our central midfielders, going in bravely for all the challenges. Strings of nice passes were made and from the back, I could see that the level of understanding within the team has grown significantly higher. Support were given almost immediately too, especially the Kiong-Jin Chuen-Yang Shan combination. Chances were in abundance too, where either we squandered it too easily, or their goalkeeper was more than equal to the challenge (Seriously good). And today's long through balls were amazing and pin-pointed, credits to Kiong and Derek and Tin.

After pressuring the opponents for quite some time, GOAT was finally rewarded for a hard earned goal. It came from none other than our dead ball specialist - "Xiao Qiang". After a few attempts on goal from the free kick spot, he finally got one in and it floated nicely above the defense and landed just beneath the goal post at such speed that was quite impossible to even touch (Even their awesome keeper couldn't reach it! Good or not..) He's not new to such goals already though, as we can from his famous "helicopter" goal celebration :x 1-0 GOAT

Knowing that how brittle our defense could be after leading, GOAT did not let their guard down and continued to look for that chance to increase the lead, however, 2 one-on-one attempts from Joe and Torres were expertly saved by their keeper, noting in particular the "coolly" attempted "LOB SHOT" by our dear Torres that incurred some rage among the team, but that's ok. We still love him. Chances from corner were also aplenty but we just couldn't convert it as Jin Chuen forget to bring his helmet along. However, we did came close to extend the lead where the ball fell in between Kayabed and Jin Chuen in one of the corners and from a rather awkward angle, Kayabed decided to be selfish and did a half-shit left-footed volley which spun away from the goal. Note to Kayabed: Never attempt what you can't do, especially when you have a natural left-footer at a better position to score.

There were a few occasions where the defense switched off and allowed Dynamites to conduct their quick counter but they were smothered rather nicely by our LEADER-IN-DEFENSE FOR THE DAY - Ren Jie. He showed real composure at the back, eliminating all possible threats as soon as they came.
Nearing towards half time, when GOAT seemed to have problem penetrating their defense, our long-lost Ariel appeared from nowhere to unleash a potential screamer, well, which was, you know, tipped over the
bar by the keeper somehow.

Along with these wasted opportunities, the half was ended with intercepted square balls by the defenders and miscalculated jumps for crosses. The most frustrated figure would very well be Joe, where luck just wasn't on his side where he had seen numerous attempts flashed by the goal line by inches.
GOAT also had a few scares at the back though. A memorable one would our dear partyboy Ren Jie decided to up the pace of the game by miskicking a clearance (POWER LAH), which was very luckily gathered by the rest of the defense and Jun Guang.

Their most notable attempts would be coming from dead ball situations where their bulky striker posed problems for the defense. However, with Mr Safe Hands around, there's nothing to fear :) Well, that concludes much that happened during the first half.

SECOND HALF!

With a change in the defense line system, we started the second half. However, be it complacency or the spirited play by the opponents, GOAT suddenly found themselves at the receiving end of a numerous strings of relentless attacks conducted by Dynamites. The opponents nearly got the equalizer where a mix-up in the defense allowed the opponent to latch onto a nice header which went narrowly wide. (Scared the shit of the whole defense.) However with the John Terry style of defense by the whole team (especially Ren Jie and Benny), we managed to get past those tough 10-15 minutes unscathed. Finally, we got back on our feets and started to build up attacks from the back and showed Dynamites that the game is far from over. We started our 1-2 passes again (notably from Jin Chuen-Yang Shan and Kiong-Tin) and forced our way into the goal but late touches and poor condition of the field made us struggling for that second goal.

Finally, after all these hard work from the attacking department, we finally got the goal that we craved for so much. Thanks to the build up of the attack from the left side and Joe's determination to work his into the penalty box. An last ditched tackle seemed to have stopped the game where the ball was on the loose and our "Thief" Yong Jie decided to sneak in from the right side and helped himself to the goal where he skillfully placed in to the left corner of the goal, leaving the keeper with no chance. To me, it was really a stroke of luck as everyone was caught up with the commotion in the penalty box and no one really saw Yong Jie doing his stuff (LOL), even our own team mates (CHAMPION). Well, a goal is a goal. 2-0 :)

After that goal, GOAT's play was more stabilized and we played with more confidence. And the introduction of SGT Kenny into the game was a wise move as he really kept their target man at bay and many of the attacks were already neutralized before they even reached our defense.
Both sides grew more anxious as the final whistle is approaching and the pace of the play started to increase and tackles came hard and fast on both sides of players, showing their determination to play their football.

However, the clean sheet nearly missed us again when the opponents well-taken free kick was initially held firmly by our Safe Hands but as if he's pleased with how the match is going, he decided to loosen his grip and push the ball away from the goal line in the nick of time. Well, I know it sucks to be taken for granted for your excellent goalkeeping skills, but next time do it at a more safe place can? Like the edge of the box or something like that (LOL)

Point to note:
- As usual, our creative spark not only did defence splitting passes, he also showed us his new moves he learnt during clubbing - his twisting skills. He actually twisted his way away from Dynamites' tough tackles and at one time, I remembered seeing him taking on 4 defenders at one go. How sick is that.

- Good teamwork by Joe and Torres today, providing all the "harassment" they could for the Dynamites' defense, it's a pity they didn't feature in the score sheet today, but if every week let you strike 4D, not fun anymore! I'm sure during the next match you guys will put on an even more impressive performance for GOAT! Till next time!

- Yong Jie's relentless running up and down the right flank is really insane. Sometimes I wonder did he fake his age??

- During the start of the second half, when we are being attacked left right centre, the gap in the midfield was rather big, Effectively splitting the team into 2 halves. So I urge all GOATees to take note, don't let complacency set in at all times, let's stay compact when we need to! We attack as one, defend as one!

Motm: Derek and RenJie

Well, the predecessor of Shebby Singh finally got his predictions correct! These 2 guys indeed rise up to the occasion and showed GOAT their importance in the role of not only defense, and also the start of our attack! Derek's determination and eye for a vital pass has really impressed everyone present and it seems that he's dead serious about cementing his role in the central park! Watch out you guys :)

Holy shit, our LSB king finally got the recognition he deserves!! Initially thought to be someone who's rather flippant and shaky at times, he had shown his rise in maturity level (IN THE GAME NIA), and as a fellow centre back, I can say that his presence really calmed my nerves a lot. And he showed a more dynamic playing style by introducing tactical play into his game. There were a few occasions that his well-timed line caught Dynamite's pacy attackers offside. I'm sure that he's only going to get better!

Signing off,
Intern with dirty boots

Can you sleep tonight? Let's see...

Hello everybody. It's me again. Well, I've tried to adhere to my an-entry-per-day policy but it failed terribly. Especially during yesterday when I really struggled to come up with things to write about. To those who bothered to waste their time over here, many thanks! As a part time admin staff cum intern, it's my duty to help out the full timers with minor issues - blogging! Enough shit. Let's see what I come up with for today's entry!

Well.. technically speaking, we've got around 14 hours to our next kick off. As usual, I'm already getting pumped up for all the actions that are going to happen later. How about you? For the non-GOATees who happened to be reading this (if there is), good luck for all your respective matches later!

Since I've got so much time now, I'll do a 'Resident Expert' here and do a full analysis of the squad for tomorrow!! Hope you guys will enjoy it!

*Disclaimer - All's for fun. Buay zhun don't flame me ah.*

So, I'll do the analysis based on the "players that are confirmed going" we have from the blog. And I'll rate the nerves of the individual players by their CAN-SLEEP-TONIGHT index, with a high score means he can sleep well, of course, with a low score means tomorrow he might not make it due to insufficient sleep.

25. Jun Guang

Saved the defense's ass in many occasions, and probably another action-packed day for him. With already-proven-skills, don't think he'll be troubled much by tomorrow's match. And his presence will definitely ease tensions of the whole team by A LOT.
CAN-SLEEP-TONIGHT index: 9/10

2. Kah Woon

Emerged as a regular in a central role as a centre back, where mistakes won't be tolerated. Even with proven defensive skills, his tactical awareness and positioning has a lot of room for improvement. Given his nervy-style of play, he's probably worrying about how many mistakes will he make, however, I think his back is well covered by his team mates.
CAN-SLEEP-TONIGHT index: 2/10

3. Jin Chuen

Having a wonderful start in this season with 2 goals despite a defensive position, he's probably wanting a bigger share in the attacking portion of GOAT. Being one of the more dependable players in the team, tomorrow should be another "walk-in-the-park" for him, and hopefully he can bag some goals and of course, cut down on his theatrics and Ashley Young style of diving to prevent getting booked (LOL)
CAN-SLEEP-TONIGHT index: 7/10

88. Ren Jie

Showing his unexpectedly good defensive capabilities in the first match of the season and maintaining it relatively well, I can say that he's one player to watch for the coming years (if he's still around) Being increasingly important in the team, the responsibilities he's going to shoulder will be even heavier, thus this season will be a true test of his nerves and he'll have a lot to prove on the pitch.
CAN-SLEEP-TONIGHT index: 0/10 (Probably at some sleazy bar partying away)

86. Benny

Being the leader of the defense, responsibility won't come in small portions for him, thus his stress level will probably be higher than anyone else in the team. However, past seasons have shown that he had managed them relatively well. So I guess this season won't be an exception!
CAN-SLEEP-TONIGHT index: 6/10

4. Tin

A new arrival. And it's safe to say that GOAT had a very successful transfer market this and last season, bringing in all sorts of talent. Playing a pivotal role in the midfield, his passes will definitely play a huge role in how our attack ends up and has shown the potential of scoring screamers, hope he'll be able to pull one off later!
CAN-SLEEP-TONIGHT index: 8/10

10. Derek

Veteran of the team. if there's anyone who's familiar with the style we play, he's probably the one. Had always been playing a vital role in the central portion, his will to snatch the ball had never been doubted. Serious injury had cut down his playing time and crispness significantly, and thus we have yet to see the star player in Derek which he had shown us before and the reason why he deserves that beautiful number! Of course, with a major influx of central midfielders this season means that he'll be facing even more challenges in playing time! I firmly believe that he will rise up to the occasion and brings out his former best and show the opponents who's the boss.
CAN-SLEEP-TONIGHT index: 6/10

39. Jeff

Can we skip to the next player?  JOKING LA BOSS DON'T SACK ME K. His commitment level in the team has never been questioned and finally going back to his favorite up-field position after so many years, his hunger for the game will certainly be more than anyone else in the team. Possessing the gift of scoring odd goals, the team certainly need him at times where things seemed to be impossible. Need I say that his goal scoring ratio is one of the best in team despite being a full time keeper? However, contented to cut down his playing time significantly for the whole team will ease off a lot of pressure on himself.
CAN-SLEEP-TONIGHT index: 7/10

18. Boon Wee

One of the rare breed of players that could fit almost anywhere, his presence is definitely much needed. A truly industrious player, we'll be expecting to see him joining the attack and defense tirelessly for about... 30 minutes? (LOL. Bo bian. Old liao) A player-manager-supporter that will provide all sorts of support the team needs, his eagerness for a good outcome in later's match will be relatively high.
CAN-SLEEP-TONIGHT index: 5/10

21. Yang Shan

Ah. The creative spark. Need I say more? "BAO JIAK" one la! This guy's really too much, treating every match like his own void deck cum training ground. I can never seem to sense a bit of tension in his play, controlling the pace almost at will, passing to whoever he likes. Maybe it's his indifferent expression that makes everything look so peaceful (LOL) I guess we'll be able to see another one of his newly invented tricks he learnt during his sleep in camp!
CAN-SLEEP-TONIGHT index: 9/10

77. Jackson "Hard-on" Goh

Another veteran in the team. Became rather polite towards the opponents lately by choosing not to increase the scoreline. This courteous boy over here needs to learn when to show some disrespect man! Currently moved into a more assisting role in the team and his dummy runs and ball-holding skills proves to be vital in our style of football. Torres will always be Torres, scoring where it REALLY matters! LOVE YOU LIKE A LOVE SONG!
CAN-SLEEP-TONIGHT index: 10/10

28. Joe

Finally, a player we've been all waiting for - a true-blooded striker! Had been in insanely-sick scoring form lately (LIKE A PAPISS) and shown ability to score from awkward angles. He'll definitely be looking for more goals to add to his tally in later's match and let's hope for the best! We'll be expecting to see more of his goal-poaching skills in later's match and who knows, we might have a new player of the season in the making!!
CAN-SLEEP-TONIGHT index: 7/10

Well as for the rest of the team, really sorry I didn't make a full analysis for you guys (if you bothered, haha) but I hope to see more of you guys in the rest of the season as all of you are also very important to the team!

Feel really bad to add this rather boring post in to the blog as the Ho Liao (good info is below this). Like our intern have said this team lost to Royal City 3-1 in their season opener. Tribute to the creative spark.

Had been a hit since first arriving at GOAT. From then on, played very important role in building attacks and supplying vital passes. Also have the capability to orchestrate the pace and tempo of the game. One of the catalyst for changing our style of play. Definitely a player that can change a match in moments (in a positive way.) I hereby present to you the creative spark *drum rolls*:

Being one of the rare breed that can provide a(LOT) creative spark, little wonder why they could be of so much resemblance :) Awesome players do have much resemblance! Simply love your play and clever passes!

When taking free kicks, you know who to look for..

Why did you join?

Hi guys the Intern is back again to pollute your mind and eyes~
Had been too stressful lately. Need to blog to relieve some of the stress. No choice :(

When thinking about what to blog about, suddenly thought of why am I IN AND STILL IN GOAT. And thought of the sudden fluctuation of movement in the GOAT's "tranfser market", might as well say something about it.

I believe that if you are in the team LONG ENOUGH (like jun yan and gang), you'll see many faces come and go. And when you eventually look back our brief 4-5 years of history, you'll be surprised that this this this person actually scored a goal, that that that person actually used to play alongside you one fine saturday. And you'll start to wonder why did the old-timers chose to stay? Why did the new signings decided to stay? Who will be leaving soon? This has been a question in my mind for quite some time. When I see fantastic players come, I would ask myself a thousand and one "why". I mean, it's not that GOAT is a lousy team, it's a good team! Just that there are even better teams out there.

I know of some players in our team who chooses to hang around despite having the chance to be on greener pastures :) For the old-timers, it's only natural that they stay cos they're the ones who started it (LOL). However, for the guys who joined halfway and stayed till now despite the downs of the team, really appreciate that you guys believe in GOAT as a place you can spend every Saturday afternooon, be it rain or shine, win or lose.

For me, I joined them cos they let me play soccer, tolerate my un-funny (LOL) jokes, always had a place for me [those above are bullshit. just to make the post look longer.]  Actually I joined them cos they give me password and let me write blog, allow me to owe match fees, got sexy team mates like 77 and 3, AND MOST IMPORTANTLY, I joined them cos' I have no choice T.T no other teams want me.

So... let me ask you....

Y U JOIN TEAM GOAT?

How a soccer ball looks like when..

Hi guys. Below is my personal opinion about soccer ball in different situations within the game..

I know it's a bit small to view but I tried my best to resize the picture already. Hope this can help you guys generate a mental image on how to treat the ball in different situations :))

"Ga Ga Lai" League prediction by hionghiongpredict.com.sg

Back again. Decided to share some information that I had gathered from a rather interesting source - hionghiongpredict.com.sg
(TROLOLOL to those who thinks that it's an URL)

Contacted the webmaster of this web, Robert (Named changed for security purposes) and pleaded him to give us one times one "Hiong Hiong" prediction. Below is the extract of the interview I had with him :x

<- Robert

Me: Hi Robert, can you analyse Team GOAT's position in the league and give us a prediction on how will the league standings turn out?

Robert: ...

MeI understand that recently Team GOAT has got themselves a really good set of fresh blood (not literally), particularly at the attacking dept. And their current set of players also allegedly reached a higher level of understanding each other's game play, especially at the top half of the field. From previous matches, I've seen quite a number of nice runs and through passes. Traditionally playing a lone striker formation, we seemed to have slowly grasped the importance of the target man and realising the full potential of our pacy and technically sound players, like Kiong, JC and Yong Jie, etc. So do you think that this improvement in the team will propel us back to div2? Or even win us another title of League champions? Who will be the key man?

Robert: ...

Me: Do correct me if I'm wrong. If we can keep up with this form,
challenging for a promotion spot shouldn't be a big prob? Since we had already
played 2 matches with rather encouraging outcomes? Who do you think will
be the biggest threat to us among all? Of course, as a hardcore fan of Team
GOAT's brand of football and particularly their sexy hairy-chested no.3
and sexy no.77 , I do think that Team GOAT will be able to shake off the
nightmares from last season and come back as a force to be reckoned with.
What do you think Robert? Do you agree with me?

Robert: ...

Me: Oh ya, and also with communication amongst team mates still rather weak
at some parts of the field, probably due to the mixture of many new faces,
do you think that it will actually cost us the challenge for promotion?

Robert: ...

Me: ... Never mind. Anyway, we would like to thank Robert for making a trip
down to our studio for this precious prediction interview. Thanks a lot Robert.
So Robert, do you have anything to add on before signing off??

Robert: eh.. Jit A show mm si predict 4D and TOTO number one meh?不是啊?

Me: -_-

Disclaimer: The above poorly fabricated report is solely for entertainment purposes only. Of course I do hope that Team GOAT will be able to snatch the Championship and move on to a higher level of football. I'm sure this is what all GOATees, hardcore or not, wants. So guys, let's fight together for a more enjoyable football experience and most importantly, HAVE FUN!! :)

New part-time admin staff reporting in + Upcoming fixture Pre-preview

Hi guys! Finally got my hands on the blog password and here I am unleashing my verbal diarrhea.

Have to admit that I'm one of those, during my free time, just click on Team GOAT blog URL and see got any updates. So might as well contribute something for my own personal pleasure :))

Well, 2 wins in a row for a start. Must have been the best start for Team GOATees, who are rather accustomed to bad beginnings :x During our first match, where RCA whacked in 2 goals in no time, me, being the "farsighted" one, started to prepare myself for a relegation dog fight (Ask Kenny!). However, as the match went on, it seemed as though GOAT were already used to be trailing, as we proceeded on with the match as per normal. I think that's something we had learnt from the previous season. Of course I almost forgot we have a sibei potent strike force (even Left Back can score 2 goals, what do you think..), which consisted of a very nice mix of sickos. Of course you must have a black sheep like our very own DEAR TORRES to make the rest look even more awesome (LOL) .
Well, the only thing we need to work on is for our defense department to stop exploiting our dear Jun Guang and Jeff, and we're ready to challenge for greater glory!

Well, moving on to the upcoming fixture's PRE-preview..

Next opponent we're facing is Dynamites. No previous meetings but being able to once secure a promotion to Div 2, I think that says a lot. Despite having a bad start this season (3-1 loss to RCA), I think that we must treat every game a tough one. You'll never know when the opponents are suddenly all fired-up, or their long-lost star players decide to make trip down to kick our sorry asses. Of course, we had already proven our attacking prowess in the previous matches. So I think it'll be a fun match for our defenders to watch from behind and also a great time for the attackers to screw the defenders upside down. K la, not a very useful match preview I must say, but hope you guys realize that I've just wasted 5 minutes of your life. :)
Well, I'm not used to the template of our match preview, so I'll just stop the Pre-Preview here.

So that's all for my first blog as a Part-Time admin staff. I would really appreciate feedback, good or bad, from all of you, in order to make this blog a joy to read when you run out of nice porn to watch :)

Empathic Win Keeps Team GOAT in top spot

Team Goat 5 AAng Football Club 2
(Joe X2, JinChuen X2, YongJie)

Joe and Jin Chuen bagged a brace each for Team GOAT as we cruised through the second victory for the season. It didn't take too long before Team GOAT managed to find the first goal, after Keong took on the left flank with ease and found Joe in the box who calmly volleyed for the finish. 1-0. Game on. As the game drags further into the first half, it had appeared eminent that Team GOAT was the dominant side while AANG was comfortable with attacking us with killer through passes. The threat was properly handled by the defenders who caught a good line, and the strikers were caught offside for almost everything that they brought in. Soon enough, it was Team GOAT who got another goal through Joe from a corner kick. As the first half was coming to an end, another cross from the left flank was chased down by Yong Jie, despite the opponents closing down very fast. His hard work paid off, when there was a defensive mix-up and Yong Jie collects to score a sitter before half-time. 3-0

The second half started the same way that it ended for Team GOAT. However this time round, AANG seemed more determined and eager, chasing down and closing down on our players as soon as possible. That destroyed the flow of our game and we did not manage to threaten the opposition goal for the first 15 minutes of the game. From a foul, Team GOAT had a free kick opportunity and Jin Chuen fired a screamer which beat the tall AANG keeper. 4-0. Another beautiful corner from Yong Jie found Jin Chuen in the middle of the box which headed in with all his might. 5-0. Therafter,  AANG had the better of the chances, and Jun Guang had to make a few desperate dives to keep the ball out of the net.  However, his heroics was not able to stop us from  conceding 2 soft consolation goals from AANG to leave us once again with no clean sheet. 5-2

Team Goat 6 Royal City Avenue 3
(Dwayne X3, Jackson, YongJie, Kiong)

Holy cow, Blogger changed the template updater and caused some problems for the tech-not-so-savvy me.

We all had a great season break, and came back spirited and hopeful of redeeming ourselves with a good start to the new season. The weather was blazing hot and we were more than pleased to have Kahwoon, Yangshan and Kiong in the line-up at the eleventh hour.

The game started well and it seemed like we had control over the game, until when a mix up between our defenders and midfielders allowed them to score the first goal without much effort. After the goal, both sides continued in the same fashion, and it seemed like RCA was satisfied to defend and counter attack with their long balls. Not surprised, they managed to get a second goal when Benny commited himself into a tackle and their striker found himself through on goal with only the keeper to beat. It was 2-0 and we clearly had no idea how to turn the game around. Despite being the team being more eager, we too often found ourselves "on the backfoot" (quoting Jeff's favourite line) and we could have conceded more goals. As the game headed for half-time, GOAT had a corner-kick, which YongJie delivered to the far post. RCA made a mess of the clearance and Dwayne picked up the ball and score a wonder goal from a tight angle. 2-1

The second half started with a bang. We decided to bring the game on, and our opponents were left clueless. Within minutes of the second half, we managed to get a goal via Dwayne when he dribbled down the left flank and fired a brilliant shot which hit the post, only to be deflected back into goal by RCA's defender. The siege continued, with Yong Jie and Jackson picking up a goal each to give GOAT a 2 goal advantage. An intentional handball later sealed Dwayne's hat-trick and Kiong also got onto the scoresheet after some impressive team-play. RCA managed to collect a consolation goal near the end and the game ended an exciting 6-3 in Team GOAT's favour.

The Future of G.O.A.T

Hey guys, its been quite sometime since i have last posted anything here and it's about time i do so. Tons of things has happened and i have mixed feelings telling you guys about it.

I will point form all of them so it will be much concise and easier for you guys to read and understand. (Easier for me to write too)

  1. The new Season
  2. Finalise Players + Guest Players
  3. The future of Goat
  4. End

1. The new season is just right around the corner and the fixtures is coming thick and fast all over again. Our current sets of players are very different from what we had in the past. Not only formations have changed, strategies have changed too. Testing the system out from the remainder of the games last season, we will just have to see what this 'new system' can bring us in the upcoming season!

Previously I have told you guys about the $100 thingy but i have decided to scrape the idea as i believe after all this is a social club i don't wish to tie anyone down with money. So the decision is still to collect money regularly every game and make changes as and when.

The new jersey will be ready soon and i'm confident we can wear it on the 1st game of the new season. Sorry about the size if it is too big for you. I have made a boo boo there and i'm not proud of it. But i hope you guys will enjoy it. Really sorry.

2. I have finalise the players that we will have for next season and some Guest players under our wings when we need them. Do look at he side bar for all of them. Good prospect i will say =)

3. The future of Goat

This is the part where i don't really want to start.Sadly, i'm about to ORD soon and gonna start on my adult life. Which means work and study at the same time. There is things that i need to give up and sadly Goat maybe one of them that i need to give up.

Yiwen and Zhuliang have always told me many things about adulthood but i heed none of them as i'm still in a carefree life in army with nothing holding me down. But the truth hurts and it came to bite me hard. I tried my best to source for schools and work that will allow me to play my weekly football. But nothing comes up. In fact, this season i could already miss half the game due to school.

I won't dare to say if i leave the team, the team will fall, but i would hope that someone could step up and take over my duties so that i can concerate on my work and studies. I may still have 1-2 seasons left to go before i have to fully step out of the team and be a guest player (if u all still want me).

I would agree that i want to be the leader so much that sometimes i just won't let go. Many who 'work' with me would know that. And i hate that part of myself too. I'm sorry if i have cause many of you guys trouble. Slowly and surely i will step down.

4. All that being said, i will still try to be around as much as i can and get players down to the field even if i'm not going to be there. With JunGuang now in the team, I can really step out le. Useless between the sticks, out on the field and being the coach. I can finally be a spectator and cheer you guys on!

So lets put up a great fight this upcoming season and bring her back to the glory days when she raised the championship title on her debut season in D2D!

I hope for all of you guys cooperation for this upcoming season! And Play a season that we will never forget! =)

Cheers!
Jeff =)
